Content creator Wambo Ashley has treated herself to a new iPhone 18 Pro Max. She shared photos of the phone and a receipt showing she paid Ksh 255,000.
The colour is burgundy, and her caption said it all: "Forever a Burgundy Girl."
What the receipt shows
The sales receipt comes from Slick iFlip Store Kenya. It lists one item at Ksh 255,000. The subtotal and the total paid are the same figure. The 256GB model is shown, and the receipt marks the payment as cash.
The photos
Taking to her Instagram, Wambo posted images holding the iPhone box in one hand and a huge bouquet of red roses in the other. The roses are wrapped in white and brown paper.
She wore a burgundy off-shoulder dress with ruched sides and flared sleeves. Her hair is braided at the front, with a long curly ponytail swept to one side. Her long nails have pink floral designs.
The box shows the phone's deep burgundy back with its three cameras.
Another photo shows the box on the roses next to her phone in a purple-pink case. A burgundy crossbody bag completes the set.
She thanked the store in her Instagram caption: "Thank you @iflip_store_kenya."
She also credited the florist: "Got some cute flowers on my way...thank you @tashflowers_gifts."
About the phone
Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max on 9 September 2026. Pre-orders opened on 12 September, and the phones went on sale on 18 September in more than 65 countries and regions.
They come in black, silver, glacier and burgundy. Both models run on the A20 Pro chip and have a 48MP camera with variable aperture.
In Kenya, the iPhone 18 Pro Max generally costs between Ksh 255,000 and Ksh 290,000.
Other Kenyans with the phone
Influencer Amber Ray also joined the queue. She unboxed the 1TB model on 22 September and reportedly spent Ksh 380,000.
She told her followers: "Newest iPhone 18 Pro Max (1TB) owner in town reporting for duty!"
Calvince Gaucho: The prominent political figure and loyalist also showed off a 1TB iPhone 18 Pro Max bought from a Nairobi tech mall for KSh 360,000.
Nurse Judy: The US-based Kenyan content creator gifted her teenage daughter an iPhone 18 Pro Max for her birthday.
