Between 2022 and 2025, global military drone exports totalled 16,822 units, with the market heavily concentrated among a handful of suppliers, according to Visual Capitalist data.

The United States led global exports with 7,593 drones, followed by Iran with 6,800. Combined, the two countries accounted for about 86% of all military drones exported worldwide during the period.

Exports fell sharply among the remaining suppliers. Germany ranked third with 1,000 units, followed by Poland with 690, Türkiye with 381, Israel with 205 and China with 64.

Other exporters recorded much smaller volumes, including Czechia (32), the United Kingdom (20), Belarus (20), Portugal (7), Austria (5), Italy (3) and Sweden (2).

The figures highlight the highly concentrated nature of the global military drone trade, with the US and Iran accounting for the overwhelming majority of reported exports during the four-year period.
