Projections from the IMF’s World Economic Outlook rank the 10 largest global economies by nominal GDP in 2030, with figures measured in trillions of US dollars.
The United States is projected to remain the world’s largest economy, with an estimated GDP of $37.7 trillion, followed by China at $26.0 trillion.
India and Germany rank third and fourth, respectively, with both economies projected to reach $6.2 trillion.
The United Kingdom ranks fifth at $5.1 trillion, narrowly ahead of Japan at $5.0 trillion.
France takes seventh place with a projected GDP of $4.0 trillion.
Brazil ranks eighth at $3.2 trillion, while Italy and Canada complete the top 10, with each projected to record $3.0 trillion.
The projections highlight the continued concentration of global economic output among a relatively small group of major economies, led by the US and China.
