The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has listed several corruption and asset recovery cases scheduled for hearing and determination in courts between October 5 and 9, 2026.
The week’s court calendar includes one ruling involving former Machakos County health chief Collins Sila and two others in a Sh67 million case.
Ten other major matters are scheduled for hearing, including financial and asset recovery cases involving millions of shillings.
Among them is a Sh744 million unexplained wealth case involving former Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) manager Benson Muteti Mutinda and six others.
Former National Museums of Kenya (NMK) director-general Mzalendo Kibunjia is also facing a Sh441.4 million embezzlement case.
Other cases include Amos Kabue Mwangi and 11 others over Sh201 million, as well as two Nairobi County-related suits involving Mary Wanjiku over Sh110 million and Janta Express Services over Sh14 million.
The EACC’s court list also includes cases seeking the recovery of public property and land involving former KAFU employee Alexander Kariuki Ndumia and Laari NGCDF manager Florence Njeri Njuguna.
Additional recovery proceedings relate to parcels of land associated with Kisii, Kenya Railways and Kitale.
The cases form part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to pursue corruption-related prosecutions and recover public assets through the courts.
