Top 10 websites with the biggest traffic gains

Global web traffic patterns experienced a massive shift between July 2024 and June 2026, driven primarily by video streaming and the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence, according to data from Visual Capitalist.

YouTube recorded the largest growth worldwide, gaining an incredible 25.6 billion web visits.

Generative AI tools also surged in popularity, with OpenAI’s ChatGPT leading the sector after adding 22.2 billion visits.

Google’s Gemini (+7.3 billion), Anthropic’s Claude (+4.0 billion), and xAI’s Grok (+2.1 billion) also secured spots among the top gainers.

Other notable websites experiencing major growth include community platform Reddit (+4.6B), privacy browser Brave (+2.5B), streaming service HBO Max (+2.4B), e-commerce giant Temu (+1.6B), and Meta's Threads (+1.5B).
