Data from Visual Capitalist highlights the 15 countries generating the most web traffic to artificial intelligence tools, based on total website visits recorded in 2025.
The United States led by a wide margin with 26.9 billion visits, more than double India’s 12 billion.
Brazil ranked third with 7 billion visits, underscoring the strong uptake of AI tools in major emerging markets.
European countries also recorded significant traffic, led by Germany with 4.6 billion visits, followed by the United Kingdom with 3.8 billion, France with 3.4 billion, Italy with 2.6 billion and Spain with 2.5 billion.
Asia-Pacific markets featured prominently, with Indonesia recording 3.7 billion visits, Japan 3.3 billion, the Philippines 2.9 billion, Vietnam 2.7 billion and China 2.4 billion. Canada generated 3 billion visits, while Mexico recorded 2.8 billion.
The figures highlight the rapid global adoption of AI tools, with substantial usage spanning established technology markets and rapidly digitalising economies.
