With over 1,300 mpox cases recorded nationwide, Muthoni warned that early preparation is vital to protect communities and frontline health workers. Muthoni also emphasized rigorous immunization, community engagement, heightened border vigilance against Ebola, and robust defences against anticipated El Niño rains.
