Kirinyaga County Commissioner Shufaa Mwijuma has urged residents to remain vigilant against health and safety risks associated with the anticipated El Niño rains. She warned that ignoring early warnings could lead to loss of lives and destruction of property. Mwijuma further called on residents to remain calm and cooperate with authorities in implementing measures to protect lives and property during the rainy season.
