The Kenya Counsellors and Psychological Association has welcomed the classification of illicit alcohol trade and consumption as organized crime, saying it could reduce deaths and alcohol addiction. CEO Rachel Kiaritha says the move could limit access to illicit alcohol, especially among low-income earners who are most affected by its affordability and availability.
