Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has urged the Salaries and Remuneration Commission to carefully review public sector salaries, warning that widening pay disparities between senior and junior staff could trigger more labour disruptions in both national and county governments. Speaking during a special session of the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council in Karen, Nairobi, DP Kindiki said the concerns must be addressed to avert further industrial unrest.
