At least 12 counties have failed to remit their SHA contributions by the 9th of every month as required by law. Health CS Aden Duale says only nine of the 47 counties are fully compliant with the remittance requirement, while the remaining counties have outstanding contributions. Duale says the unpaid contributions, together with accruing penalties, have now reached 432 million shillings.
