Several workers are feared trapped beneath rubble after a quarry collapsed and caved in at Mutonga in Igoji, Meru County early today. One worker is said to have escaped unhurt, while another was rescued by residents with serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment. According to the worker who escaped the ordeal, six others are suspected to have been trapped beneath the debris, with rescue efforts are underway.
