Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has defended his meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua amid criticism from some quarters. Sifuna says Gachagua remains a Kenyan despite his impeachment and should not be barred from engaging with other leaders. The Linda Mwananchi leader has pledged that his team will maintain discipline and avoid political confrontation as the country heads towards the 2027 elections.
