The Ministry of Health has appointed KMPDU Deputy Secretary-General Dennis Miskellah to the National Ebola Disease Taskforce following the union's request for frontline representation. During the National Advisory Council meeting, Miskellah was tasked with conducting a nationwide county preparedness survey alongside branch leadership to protect healthcare workers and secure public health. The appointment comes in response to an imported Ebola case that has triggered heightened national surveillance.
