The IEBC will retreat to consider evidence presented during today’s hearing involving UDA Secretary-General Hassan Omar over alleged breach of the Electoral Code of Conduct. The case stems from remarks he reportedly made at a Mombasa rally on September 11th concerning alleged voting by deceased persons. Omar, through his lawyers, was given an opportunity to present his defence before the committee.
