International construction equipment suppliers are urging Kenyan contractors to prioritise quality and after-sales service when purchasing machinery for infrastructure projects. Speaking at the Big 5 Construct Kenya Expo in Nairobi, officials from various companies says the cost of equipment should not be the only consideration, given the significant investments involved in construction. The firms hope to expand their presence by offering contractors specialised software to manage project costs, procurement and accounting.
