Kenya is seeking to attract foreign manufacturers to establish production and distribution facilities locally to meet growing demand for construction materials. KNCCI President Erick Rutto says about 15 companies participating in the Big 5 Construct Kenya Expo have expressed interest in setting up operations in the country. Rutto says the chamber will conduct feasibility studies to identify suitable locations, assess production costs and connect investors with local partners to support expansion into East and Central Africa.
