Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says new markets being constructed under the government’s economic transformation agenda will offer traders more than selling spaces. The facilities will include cold storage, restaurants, mothers’ rooms, children’s play areas and ICT hubs to support e-commerce and digital jobs. In Gatundu North, Kindiki says Kamwangi and Gatukuyu markets are also nearing completion, at a cost of 387 million and 56 million shillings, respectively.
