
Six corruption cases are scheduled for hearing in Kenyan courts this week, according to a summary by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
The cases, from August 31 to September 4, involve public officials and government employees. They include former Murang’a governor Mwangi wa Iria and eight others in a Sh351 million media contract case.
NSSF procurement head George Mwandenbo and three others face a Sh47.7 million bulk fillers tender case.
Others involve a Sh2.3 million Nandi road contract case, a Sh1.57 billion National Treasury payments case, a Sh301.9 million goods payment case and a Sh120.5 million money laundering case.
