Most beautiful cities according to locals/Sydney Nyachiro
Based on a Time Out survey of 24,000 local urbanites, global cities have been ranked by the percentage of residents who consider their home city beautiful.

Cape Town tops the list with 86% of its residents praising its aesthetic appeal, followed closely by Edinburgh at 84%.

Other highly regarded locations in the top ten include Sydney at 78%, Chicago at 77%, and Lisbon at 74%.

European destinations maintain a strong presence throughout the standings, with Paris and Stockholm tied at 68%, while Porto, Medellin, and Riga round out the top ten.

Moving down the rankings, San Diego leads the second group with 61% approval.

A five-way tie at 60% follows, comprising Panama City, Cambridge, Florence, Rio de Janeiro, and Bath.

Finally, Bengaluru, Vienna, and Brasilia close out the top nineteen, each securing a 59% positive response from their local populations.
