Murang’a County has taken the top spot nationally for health service delivery, leading with an impressive 56 per cent score in an Infotrak poll released on August 4, 2026.

The comprehensive assessment evaluated health service delivery by weighing multiple vital indicators, combining affordability, quality of care, staffing, sanitation, and access to health information.

Following the leader, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot tied for the second position, both securing a strong 50 per cent score from residents.

Rounding out the top five performers, Kiambu and Tharaka Nithi jointly claimed the fourth position, each obtaining a 49 per cent rating in health service delivery.

The rankings highlight how regional administrations are currently faring in meeting essential healthcare criteria across the country, showing strong performance in localised health operations, workforce capacity, and public wellness communication.
