The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has outlined several high-profile corruption and asset recovery cases scheduled for hearing and determination in courts this week.
This underscores the agency's continued push to recover public funds and prosecute graft-related offences.
A key ruling is expected in the case involving Eve Goga and three others, where the commission is seeking to recover Sh1.4 million in salaries allegedly unlawfully paid by the Homa Bay County government.
Among the hearings lined up is the case against former National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Director General Paul Kipsang Kosgei and four others, who face charges linked to an alleged Sh28.4 million fraud.
The court will also hear a Sh3.5 million recovery suit involving Charles Kizito Wanjala Masinde.
Other matters include the alleged Vihiga Blood Centre tender fraud case involving Arnold Kimiya Mamadi and 11 others, as well as an alleged Sh2.6 million Turkana County Treasury fraud case involving Elias Tirop Tomno and Francis Gatua.
The cases are scheduled for hearing between August 3 and 7.
