The Kenya Community Development Foundation has awarded Sh31.5 million to seven youth-led enterprises developing innovative solutions to Kenya's environmental challenges. The winners were selected from more than 700 applicants under the Young Environmentalist Innovation Challenge. Their projects tackle plastic waste, clean energy, water scarcity, sustainable agriculture and affordable housing. KCDF says the initiative is helping young innovators create jobs while addressing climate and environmental challenges.
