Major corruption and public asset recovery cases are set to dominate court proceedings this week as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) intensifies its fight against graft.
Between July 20 and 24, courts are expected to hear several high-profile matters, including alleged fake academic certificate cases involving Moses Kirwa Leadero, Daniel Kiogora, Peggy Makungyu Malova and others; and Asumpta Mwanjeru Gabriel.
Hearings are also scheduled in unexplained wealth and public asset recovery suits involving former Homa Bay Assembly Clerk Bob Kephas Otieno, Dr Isaak Haji, Nicholas Owino Ochiel, Halkano Hallo Dabasso, Margaret Njoki Njuguna, and Sosik Ltd, among others.
