According to Statista data, the United States is the world's largest oil producer, generating over 20 million barrels per day (including liquids) and accounting for roughly 22% of global production.

Saudi Arabia and Russia follow as the next largest producers.

 Iran produced roughly 4.6 million barrels of crude oil and natural gas liquids per day in 2024, making it the world’s sixth-largest oil producer.
