Bangkok tops the list of the world’s most visited cities in 2025, recording 30.3 million international arrivals, according to Statista data.

The Thai capital leads a competitive global field, underscoring Asia’s continued dominance in tourism recovery and growth.

Hong Kong follows with 23.2 million visitors, while London ranks close behind at 22.7 million.

Macau recorded 20.4 million arrivals, cementing its status as a major travel hub.

Istanbul attracted 19.7 million visitors, narrowly edging Dubai at 19.5 million.

Mecca welcomed 18.7 million international visitors, reflecting steady religious tourism flows. Antalya posted 18.6 million arrivals, while Paris received 18.3 million.

Kuala Lumpur rounds off the top cities with 17.3 million visitors.

The figures refer to international tourists staying at least 24 hours but not exceeding 12 months.

Each arrival is counted separately, including repeat travellers and those visiting multiple countries during a single trip, highlighting the scale and dynamism of global travel in 2025.
