Global statistics for 2024 show the top ten countries driving wind power growth by share of electricity generation.

Djibouti leads the list, followed by Denmark, Lithuania, Ireland, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Mauritania, Spain and Greece.

Djibouti and Mauritania are identified as the only African countries included.
