Nyali Member of Parliament, Mohamed Ali, has joined the long list of leaders condemning the death of Albert Ojwang.
In a statement released via his social media pages, Ali questioned why the officers who launched official complaints about Ojwang had not been named as a person of interest in the mysterious death of the Teacher.
“The Lies Do NOT add up and the Story Does Not Stick! The Autopsy results have debunked the Police version of the death of Albert Ojwang, revealing that he died from Head Injuries, Neck Compression and Multiple Soft Tissue Trauma pointing to inflicted torture and murder, ruling out the National Police’s account of self-inflicted injuries,” said Mohamed Ali.
Ali went on to demand justice in the death of Albert Ojwang, who died while in police custody after being arrested by DCI officers.
“As A Leader in this country and a former investigative journalist who sought to bring the truth and justice to my fellow Kenyans- nothing is more clear to me today than the depths of depravity we have sunk in as a country. Albert is among the many young Kenyans in this country who exercised their right to free speech only to pay the heaviest price- death,” he said.

Ali also posed 7 tough questions that deserve answers. Since DIG Eliud Lagat is the one who complained about Albert Ojwang for allegedly tarnishing his name on X, we need to ask ourselves:
1. Why is the complainant not already named a Person of Interest in this brutal murder of his complainee?
2. Why was Albert moved all the way to Nairobi despite the several police stations in Homabay?
3. Why wasn’t the Complainant interdicted together with the Nairobi Central Police Station officers over the “mysterious” death of his complainee?
4. Why was Albert held in a cell ALONE in the first place? What warranted this decision- or was he brought to the cell when he was already dead or is the cell where the crime was committed with no witnesses?
5. What did happen during the transportation from Homa Bay to Nairobi?
6. Who are the officers that took Albert from his home in Homabay and whose instructions were they following?
7. I believe there are honorable police officers at Central Police Station in Nairobi who can confrim whether Albert was brought in dead or alive.
They can Retrieve the cctv footage for the same. Kenyan Youth Should Not Live in Constant Fear of Their Lives Because of Digital Activism. This is NOT the Kenya we envision for our Selves or our Children.
Justice Must Be Served and DIG ELIUD LAGAT Must RESIGN IMMEDIATELY as he is a person of interest and prime suspect number one!
