Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has attracted attention online after a video emerged showing him in a playful exchange with political commentator Pauline Njoroge.
The clip, which circulated on social media, shows Khalwale and Njoroge at an indoor gathering attended by people wearing matching branded caps and T-shirts.
During the interaction, Khalwale appeared to address Njoroge, remarking on a “big gap” at his home.
“There’s a big gap in my office. So the moment you’ll say, just give me a signal. Don’t say anything.”

Video draws attention after Gloria’s death
The timing of the clip has contributed to the interest surrounding it.
Khalwale’s wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, died on August 15, 2026, after suffering a sudden heart attack at their home in Kakamega County.
She was later laid to rest on Friday, August 21, at Malinya Grounds in Ikolomani Constituency.
The funeral was attended by political leaders and members of the public who gathered to mourn her.
