Breast cancer treatment options

The Ministry of Health has outlined multiple treatment options for breast cancer, which is characterized by abnormal breast cell growth leading to tumor formation.

Some of the options are:  

Surgery: Removes the cancerous tissue from the breast. 

Chemotherapy: Uses drugs to destroy or inhibit the growth of cancer cells. 

Radiation Therapy: High-energy rays target and destroy cancer cells, often used post-surgery.

For optimal results, patients may need a combination of these treatments. Early diagnosis and individualized treatment plans increase the likelihood of positive outcomes.
