Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has described the allegations of amassing Sh5.2 billion since taking office as outrageous.


He clarified that much of the wealth in question belongs to his late brother, Nderitu Gachagua.


In a press briefing on Monday, Gachagua explained that he was appointed the executor of his brother’s estate, which includes the properties attributed to him.

He mentioned several assets, such as Olive Garden, Vipingo Beach Resort, Queen’s Gate apartments, and Lang’ata High Rise Flats, as part of the inheritance from the late Nyeri Governor.
