The Law Society of Kenya is urging Parliament to enact laws guaranteeing live streaming of polling station results through a publicly accessible platform during elections. LSK President Charles Kanjama says the IEBC should clarify how voters, candidates, journalists and observers will access and scrutinise results. The lawyers’ body is also calling for the reconstitution of Cabinet following a High Court ruling that declared its current composition unconstitutional for failing to meet the two-thirds gender principle.
