In a move aimed at enhancing financial independence and stability among community health promoters, the Kiambu County Government has supported the establishment of a SACCO with an initial injection of Sh25 million. Governor Kimani Wamatangi said the initiative will enable the health workers to access affordable credit and reduce their reliance on expensive lenders.
