The Victims’ Compensation Panel, chaired by Professor Makau Mutua, has visited the family of Rex Masai in Kayole, Nairobi, delivering a personal apology from the Head of State and the government over their loss.

The visit was attended by representatives from the Independent Policing Oversight Authority, and the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights.

The panel reaffirmed its commitment to justice, national healing and reconciliation, as the compensation process for affected families continues.
