Kenyan digital creator Natalie Tewa has announced her engagement to her partner of three years. Tewa shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting photos from a private boat at sunset under the caption “In His time, in His way”.
She said it was time to update her feed with “some major life events”. She described 2026 as a year of major blessings, challenges and change.
“Through it all, I’ve seen God walk with us,” she wrote, adding that she was extremely grateful.
Mother played matchmaker
Tewa also gave a glimpse into how the couple met, crediting her mother with “playing Cupid”.
She described it as “a very funny story” but did not share the details. She said she was happy they had found each other.
The digital creator praised her partner for the proposal, saying she had no idea what was coming as the sun set.
“I have to give it to him… this was such a beautiful moment on a private boat,” she wrote.

Previous engagement ended in 2023
Tewa previously announced an engagement in February 2023, to Amsterdam-based Francis Mbugua Mugane.
She shared photos of the ring on Instagram, captioning them “May God bless our union”. She said the proposal had caught her by surprise.
The relationship did not last. The couple sparked speculation when they unfollowed each other on social media in December 2023. Tewa later addressed the split publicly.
“I’ve only been engaged once, and it ended because things just weren’t working out,” she said.

Looking ahead together
Tewa closed her post on a hopeful note. She said the couple will “continue to build a beautiful life together and forever”.
She ended the caption with “Amen”, which fits the faith-centred tone of the post. No wedding date has been announced, and her partner has not been named.
