Digital creator Gloria Ntazola has spoken about growing up without privilege and the struggle to build a better life for herself.

In a series of Instagram posts on Friday, 23 October 2026, Ntazola looked back at her younger self and said she was grateful for how far she had come.

“I look at little me and I want to hug myself so bad,” she wrote.

Digital creator Gloria Ntazola says her hard start shaped who she is today. Grateful for how far she has come, she insists she is only getting started.

Ntazola said her upbringing taught her to value things many people take for granted, such as having enough food and clothes.

“I grew up from a place where food and clothes were a luxury to afford. Now I have food and clothes, which makes me very grateful,” she wrote.

Her posts offered a glimpse into the experiences behind her drive to improve her circumstances and reach her goals.

Ntazola also recalled how hard it was to establish herself at a young age. She said she had to find her way without the support and advantages that make life easier for others.

She spoke of the risks of being a 19-year-old woman rebuilding her life alone.

“You know how risky and tough is for a 19 yr old girl walking alone and fixing her life together on her own up to what I am right now,” she wrote.

Her message touched on the pressure of building a future amid uncertainty and the expectations that come with chasing success.

She also addressed critics who speak badly of her name. She said their opinions would not make her give up on her ambitions.

“Please, when you talk rubbish and diminish my name, keep in mind I will never quit. I’m so hungry for success and peace and not a single word from a miserable spiteful person can stop me,” she stated.

Ntazola’s posts say she has come a long way from a childhood without privilege. She credits that past with her gratitude, her drive and her resolve to keep going, whatever critics say.

Ntazola says she is not seeking approval

Beyond her upbringing, Ntazola said she has no interest in being seen as the best or being picked over other women. She said she would rather focus on her personal growth and make choices that suit her, instead of living up to other people’s expectations.

“You know something about me: I never want to be in your best books. I never want to be chosen or pointed out as the best girl. Pick everyone else as the best,” she wrote.

Looking ahead with hope

Despite the hardships she described, Ntazola ended on an optimistic note and said she expects better days.

“You know something… I’ll turn out great, I’ll go out and good things will happen to me,” she wrote.

Her posts centred on gratitude for her progress, the lessons of her upbringing and her resolve to keep going despite criticism. She framed her journey as a reminder that circumstances can shape a person’s outlook on life, success and the search for peace.
