Former media personality Ciku Muiruri has narrated a frightening encounter during the alleged invasion of her family's coffee farm in Thika, claiming she was struck on the head and face by a man armed with a crowbar despite police officers being present at the scene. In a video shared on her social media platforms, Ciku recounted how she found herself in a dangerous situation as tensions escalated during the October 12 incident, which she says involved nearly 100 armed men who raided the family property at around 3am.
According to Ciku, she had managed to get through the ordeal without a scratch initially. However, her attempt to leave the property reportedly took a violent turn.
"When I go outside, I find there's a cop there and the cop is telling you need to get out of here. We're overwhelmed and we're waiting for backup or whatever, and everybody else is gone, so just go," she recalled.
Ciku said she was reluctant to leave without her car keys, explaining that she feared driving towards the coffee farm while the alleged attackers were still present.

She claimed the officer accompanied her back into a room to look for the keys, but she was unable to locate them.
Ciku Alleges She Was Attacked With a Crowbar
Ciku recounted that after leaving the room, she was allegedly confronted by a man who accused her of interfering with construction on the disputed property.
"I walk out and she leaves me, and this guy grabs a crowbar and hits me on the head and the face," she said.
According to Ciku, the man allegedly referred to her as the woman who had been filing police reports and preventing people from building on the property.
"He's saying, 'You know this is the lady who's been writing OBs and preventing people to build,'" she narrated.
Ciku's account raises questions about the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault and the response of officers who were present during the confrontation.
She has accused Thika police of failing to enforce court orders relating to the property dispute, claiming the family has been left without adequate protection despite seeking legal intervention.
The allegations and the circumstances of the reported assault have not been independently verified.
Ciku Names Neighbour in Ongoing Land Dispute
In the video, Ciku also spoke about a neighboring property owner, whom she identified as Lukas Kagwamba, claiming he had shown interest in the family farm for a long time.
She explained that the neighbor owns a building known as Ngoingwa Thikaview, located near the disputed property, which houses a bar, supermarket and rental rooms.
"We have a neighbor and this neighbor is called Lukas Kagwamba, and he owns a building called Ngoingwa Thikaview, which is quite next to the farm in question," she said.

Ciku alleged that the neighbour had been eyeing the farm since the beginning of the dispute. However, the claim has not been independently established, and no response from the neighbour was available in her account.
The alleged invasion reportedly involved the destruction of property, the seizure of phones and harm to residents, including minors.
Ciku has also said her 80-year-old mother is living in a tent on the farm while the dispute continues, despite a court stay order.
The family continues to seek intervention over the disputed property, with Ciku calling attention to the alleged violence and the police response. The claims surrounding the incident, including the alleged assault and enforcement of court orders, await independent verification and any response from the parties concerned.
