The National Assembly has urged the Senate to fast-track two bills aimed at streamlining the agricultural extension sector and regulating livestock professionals and technicians. Agriculture Committee Chairperson John Mutunga says the proposed laws will provide a legal framework for agricultural advisory services, promote the use of information and communication technology and modern technologies, and professionalize the sector.
