According to Visual Capitalist, global mineral production in 2024—encompassing metals, minerals, and fossil fuels—was dominated by China at 5,341.4 metric tons.
The United States followed with 2,397.4, while Russia, India, and Australia produced 1,566.6, 1,413.8, and 1,332.4 metric tons, respectively.
Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Rest of Asia Pacific, Canada, and Iran rounded out the top ten.
