ElNino is heavy above average rainfall caused by a natural climatic pattern the last El Nino experienced in Kenya was between late November 2023 to January 2024 the major impacts experienced were heavy rainfall, floods, displacement of people and their goods damaged of infrastructure loss of lives over 186 people lost their lives
