President William Ruto will tour Kajiado County on Thursday, September 3, 2026, where he is scheduled to inspect several infrastructure and development projects across the county.
Ruto’s itinerary begins in Rombo, Kajiado South, where he will inspect the Rombo-Taveta Road. He will also visit the Rombo Modern Market before touring the Rombo Irrigation Project.
The President will then proceed to Loitoktok, where he is scheduled to inspect an Affordable Housing Project and KMTC Students' Hostels.
He will also inspect the Sultan Hamud-Loitoktok Electricity Project as part of his programme in the area.
In nearby Kimana, Ruto is scheduled to inspect the Kimana Modern Market.
The President’s itinerary will then take him to Namanga in Kajiado Central. He will visit the Namanga Modern Market and inspect the Namanga-Isinya Electricity Project.
Ruto is also scheduled to inspect Maparasha Bridge and Lesonkoyo Bridge in Namanga.
The final stop on the itinerary is Kajiado Town, where the President will inspect several projects.
These include Phase One of the Affordable Housing project and Kajiado Town Students' Hostels.
He will also inspect Kajiado Town Police Housing Units and the Kajiado Modern Market.
The tour will cover projects in Kajiado South and Kajiado Central, with roads, markets, irrigation, electricity, housing, bridges and student accommodation featuring prominently on the programme.
The itinerary places infrastructure and public facilities at the centre of the President’s visit, taking him through Rombo, Loitoktok, Kimana, Namanga and Kajiado Town.
Ruto’s programme includes both ongoing projects and public facilities scheduled for inspection during the day.
The visit will also cover projects linked to transport, electricity, housing, markets, irrigation and accommodation facilities for students and police officers across the county.
