Aviation workers under the Kenya Aviation Workers Union, KAWU, have called off their strike after reaching an agreement with the government. The union signed a return-to-work agreement with the Transport Ministry, paving the way for normal operations at Kenyan airports. KAWU and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority will immediately begin negotiations for a new CBA, while its recognition agreement with Jambojet awaits court determination.
