The Aviation Workers Union has called off its strike that disrupted flights at Nairobi airports, following talks with the government. The union says employees will resume duty and cooperate with management to restore normal operations immediately. Among the resolutions reached was the withdrawal of an initial Salaries and Remuneration Commission guidance letter issued on July 28th, 2026. New parameters will now guide ongoing negotiations between the parties.
