The Police Service has reaffirmed its commitment to constitutional policing, professionalism, impartiality and accountability ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking at the opening of the Missing Voices journalists’ training in Mombasa, NPS spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga said police are ready to provide security and facilitate a peaceful electoral process. He also urged journalists to report police operations accurately, ethically and responsibly, while promoting accountability.
