President William Ruto says Kenya has made a major breakthrough in cancer treatment after signing an agreement with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. President Ruto says the deal has cut the cost of medicines for nine cancers by more than seven times, with some treatments falling from Sh1 million shillings to below Sh50,000 cycle. He says the deal will also make the Sh800,000 SHA cancer package fully adequate.
