President William Ruto on Tuesday presided over the National Health Summit at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, where his administration took stock of reforms being implemented to improve access to healthcare and advance Universal Health Coverage.

The two-day summit, running from August 18 to 19, brings together government officials, healthcare workers, development partners and other stakeholders to assess progress in the health sector and identify priorities for the coming years.

It is being held under the theme “Reform Delivered, Health as a Right.”
