A young couple has died by suicide in Eldoret in what police suspect may have been linked to a love triangle. The incident occurred at their home in Sogomo, on the outskirts of Eldoret city, near the University of Eldoret along the Eldoret-Ziwa road. Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Wilberforce Sicharani confirmed the incident, saying the woman, aged 26, was a teacher at a local school while the man was aged 32. Sicharani said police were called to the home after the man was found hanging from a tree using a manila rope.
