NTSA has intensified its crackdown on pedestrians who fail to use designated footbridges along major highways. Several pedestrians were arrested earlier today during a joint operation at the Pipeline footbridge in Nairobi after they were allegedly found crossing the busy highway at undesignated points despite the presence of a footbridge. The authority said the enforcement operation is aimed at improving compliance with road safety regulations and reducing pedestrian-related accidents.
