He has been joined by senior government officials, including Cabinet secretaries, political leaders from across the political divide and representatives of various institutions.
Kenyans from all walks of life are also attending the event, alongside representatives of faith groups, student and youth delegates and participants drawn from all 47 counties.
The Beyond 2030 National Conversation seeks to develop an inclusive, people-driven 2060 development roadmap to succeed Kenya’s Vision 2030.
The initiative aims to build broad national consensus on Kenya’s long-term priorities while ensuring the country’s development agenda transcends short-term political interests and election cycles.
