Over Sh. 800 million have been disbursed by the presidential panel tasked with compensating victims of human rights violations to support affected families nationwide. In a statement, Panel Chairperson Professor Makau Mutua confirmed that 680 legitimate claims have been successfully addressed across three phases, while another 400 pending claims await further comprehensive action and processing.
